Adam Shanahan is a two-time RTÉ Choice Music Prize-nominated, Dublin-based music producer who specialises in vocal production, recording, mixing, and artist development. Working out of a private studio in Harold’s Cross, he’s been behind a wide range of projects, from Nealo’s All The Leaves Are Falling and November Medicine, to Melina Malone’s Aphrodite, Rebel Phoenix’s Museum, and Shiv’s the defiance of a sadgirl. He’s also produced standout singles for the likes of Cable Boy, Bobbi Arlo, and Tebi Rex.

Alongside his studio work, Adam is active in podcasting as an engineer and co-host of NO ENCORE alongside highly-decorated music journalist Dave Hanratty, and contributes to several other podcasts including Flop Culture hosted by Fionnuala Jones and award-winning podcasts such as The Indo Daily and Indo Sport as part of the Irish Independent podcast network. He’s also brought his skills to the stage, contributing to productions like Hive City Legacy at Dublin Fringe and the regular Bureau de Change Song Contest series hosted by The Collaborations Agency annually.

Since 2020, records he’s produced have been a regular feature in highly regarded publications such as Clash Magazine, DJ Mag, Nialler9, Hot Press, and District Magazine. Songs he has worked on are also regularly featured on Spotify’s editorial playlists, including New Music Friday UK & Ireland, and more — cementing his reputation as a key presence in Irish music today.
